reduce 4/52

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 1/26 but im not sure if thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not quite. We can divide both sides by 4. 4/4=1 and 52/4=13. That means our simplified fraction is 1/13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the same as multiplying by 2 than dividing by 2 right?i got 1/13 that way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you mean dividing by 2, then dividing by 2 again? You can do that. You would get 2/26 the first time, and then you would divide by 2 again to get 1/13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya sorry thats what i meant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought so :)
