OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

why is this impossible? Emily challenges her friend David to catch a $1 bill. she holds the bill vertically with the center of the bill between but not touching David's index finger and thumb. Without warning, Emily releases the bill. David catches the bill without moving his hand downward. David's reaction time is equal tot he average human reaction time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can I share my idea with you?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

sure. by all means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is possible. Try it with your friend.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

it says it's impossible..maybe something to do with the speed formula thingy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now, when Emily releases the $1 bill, her hand's thumb and index finger is between David's thumb and index finger. According to normal human response, David will first feel the $1 bill in his hand but when he tries to catch it, he will collide with Emily's finger, thus dropping the note. REMEMBER THIS IS ACCORDING TO NORMAL HUMAN REFLEX.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

no i think you imagined it wrong..
