OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

is there a noob-friendly software where i can learn basics on how to program and all the good stuffs? currently, we're using dev c++ in our computer programming class...is there anything else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scratch.mit.edu. its not text based, but its great for starting off with programming. I would also recommend watching YouTube videos in programming. I Find books to be distracting and don't really keep my attention, but with videos you can't listen to music or anything, you focus all of your attention. Best of luck dude.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

how does it work? like c++?

You may want to check out Stanford's OCW http://see.stanford.edu and click on courses.
