all prime numbers are odd numbers right? just confirming..
2 is even
Except one..
2 is the only prime number because any number after 2 will be divisible by 2..
but i thought 0, 1 and 2 were neither prime nor composite? arent they special numbers?
0 and 1 are not prime but 2 is prime...
hmm since we are all gathered here anyway...why are 0 and 1 not prime nor composite?
By the definition of what are Prime numbers, 2 becomes the Prime Number...
Are all of you still in high school? A second ago I was at MIT.. What with all the trivia questions?
uhmm isnt the def of prime number it cannot be expressed as a product of two numbers? so why are 0 and 1 exempted/
<--second year college lol..i just want to know these trivial things. they fascinate me.
0 is not prime. It is divisible by almost all number
and 1?
same reason?
It is prime.
See, Composite Numbers are the Natural Numbers which are not Prime... Don't be in doubt, 0 is not prime... 1 is Composite Number...
so what are the "special numbers"?
1 is special number. neither composite nor prime.
oh i see thanks @Callisto so 1 is the only special number..2 is prime too
