Ok, I know next to nothing about apoptosis, so this might be a stupid question, but... since apoptosis is cell death, how could anything "revert" it?

I think the process of "reverse" is cell Biology can be common. For example, H1V virus uses RAN reverse trascriptase to invade cells so the transcription process is inverted. And off course, apoptosis is not a single step process. I think "reversion" can happen in apoptosis and something abnormal will happen. But I am not sure.
