i dont get how to come up with where the vertices should go

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

draw PQ first

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

P is like K and Q is like L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get "pq should be 10"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

P is K Q is L R is M PQ being of size ten, in comparison to KL being size 5 means that this new shape is twice as big as the old one. So if P is at (2,-5). Q is 10 upward from P -> Q is at (2,5) You can count and see that LM is 4 squares. So QR should be 4*2 = 8 So R is to the right of Q, 8 spaces away. So R is at (10,5)

omg thank you soooo much! i get it now. :)
