Please find the square. (2x – 6) ^2 A. 4x^2 – 24x + 36 B. 4x^2 – 8x + 36 C. 4x^2 + 36 D. 4x^2 – 12x + 36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2x - 6)(2x - 6) 4x^2 - 12x - 12x + 36 4x^2 - 24x + 36 A is the answer. :)

Basically you're finding the factored version of (2x-6)^2. Which is basically (2x-6)(2x-6). When you distribute this, you get: 4x^2 - 24x + 36
