In the Bohr model of the atom, electrons exist in fixed orbits and they cannot move from one level to another. True False

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

they can't move from one level to another unless energy is supplied or released.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Partly false. The electrons may only occupy certain orbits, but they can move from one to the other.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

electrons does not exit in fixed orbits they exist in electron cloud which may be assumed by probability as a fixed orbit. second part of he speech is correct if there is a stable nuclei. otherwise elctrons can jump from one to another orbit or might jump out of the atom depends :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it true or false
