Please answer... Are polynomial expressions closed under multiplication? Explain

OpenStudy (turingtest):

if you multiply one polynomial by another, is the result always a polynomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (turingtest):

think about it in general...

OpenStudy (turingtest):

\[p(x)=a_0x^n+a_1x^{n-1}+...+a_n\]\[q(x)=b_0y^m+b_1y^{m-1}+...+b_n\]these polynomials could have any degree or variable but if we multiply one by the other, is there any way to get a non-polynomial term?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dont bother. hes literally asking a question, closing it, asking another. he just wants his homework done for him :\
