OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

"variable" velocity means that the velocity is changing right? it's not constant?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

correct :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yay thanks!! so variable velocity cant have zero acceleration right??

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

correct - you need acceleration (or deceleration) in order to change velocity

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

another way to look at it is that you need some force applied to an object in order to change its velocity, and: F = ma

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yes! thanks :) now i have a chance to pass that physics test lol

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

therefore you need acceleration

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

lol i dont know those concepts yet :p well i do..but im vague with it

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

np - you'll soon learn these too :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

all in good time :) our lesson in physics is already laws of motion :D so expect some of those questions soon lol
