OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one, when comparing fractions, you should have a common ________?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one, C. 25/50. For the second one, C. 3/4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Calcmathlete, for the first one, would you say C or D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I meant: For the second one, C. 3 3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one, I'd say D because when comparing fractions, you want a common denominator and 24/48 is equivalent to 1/2, except there's a common denominator. For the second one, you dive 30 by 8 and just simplify from there to get C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, @WhiteFlower, I wasn't sure if the first one was C or D, but @Calcmathlete helped me so we both think it is D. The second one is definitely C. Does that help? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks @Calcmathlete. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! Thanks guys!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! I have to go now, but I'm happy I could help. :) Good luck!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much!! Good-bye
