I was trying to differentiate \[y=[(ae^x+b)/(ce^x+d)] \] earlier by using ln method and i got \[y'=[(ae^x+b)/(ce^x+d)][(ae^x)/(ae^x+b)-(ce^x)/(ce^x+d)]\]
but my book used the quotient rule and the answer from it was \[[(ad-bc)e^x/(ce^x+d)^2]\]
can anyone help me check if my answer is equivalent to the quotient rule answer?
