for f(x)=3x+1 and g(x)=x^2-6, find(f/g)(x) A. 3x+1/x^2-6 B. 3x+1/x^2-6, x does not = +/- sqrt6 C. x^2-6/3x+1 D. x^2-6/3x+1, x does not = -1/3

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

do you have a bet on which it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or B

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

close..it's B because B states the domain...x cannot be +/- sqrt 6 because if it is...the thingy will become undefined since it will become 3x + 1/0 got it?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

usually if it's specific..you have more reason to choose it lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah lol the thingy :) got it though thank you for all your help!
