A cheetah ran 300 feet in 2.92 seconds. What was the cheetah’s average speed in miles per hour?

find the speed in feet per second 300/2.92..... its around 100 feet per second..... you can do it in a more exact manner multiply by 60 x 60 changes to feet/minute and then feet per hour. 100 x 60 x 60 = 360000 feet per hour next divide by the number of feet in a mile this will give the speed in miles per hour. 36000/5229 miles per hour which looks like around 70 miles per hour
