static electricity is produce by frictional force applied between to particular kind of objects having certain properties like. like some object may have excess of electron on its surface and it may loose some just by rubbing it. example: take a ball pen of plastic body and rub it on your dry hair and take near to very small pieces of papers it will attract these pieces. but this electricity is temporary the electrons lost by rubbing are restored by the environment by the time.
