An architect planned to construct two similar stone pyramid structures in a park. The figure below shows the front view of the pyramids in her plan but there is an error in the dimensions. Two similar scalene triangles PQR and ABC with angle P congruent to angle A, angle Q congruent to angle B, and QR and BC as the bases of the triangles. The length of PQ is 6 feet, the length of QR is 10.5 feet, and the length of RP is 7.5 feet. The length of AB is 3 feet, the length of BC is 3.5 feet, and the length of CA is 2.5 feet. Which of the following changes should she make to the dimensions to
Where is the figure?

What does similar mean. That both shapes are proportional. For example if the one of the shapes was twice as big as the other all we had to do is multiply 2 by each side and that will make the second shape.
your not helping me...
The left side is bigger so there is a number that you can multiply each side on the right side that will give you the same sides as the left side.
That number will be the same
Actually , PQ should be 9 feet
For example the bottom side on the right side is 3.5 The bottom side on the left side is 10.5 What number let's call this number X can u multiply 3.5 to give you 10.5 X*3.5=10.5
Please do not give the answer away.
I can say that pq should be 10 and im not more right than you
Hmm, we should go from triangle smilarities and we can find this answer
change the length of side AB to 2 feet change the length of side PQ to 8 feet change the length of side AB to 1 feet change the length of side PQ to 4 feet these are the possible anwsers ^
It doesn't really matter what the answer choice is just as long as you know how to solve it
it does kinda matter what the answer choice is.... i want to get it right
Life doesn't give you answer choices....anyways I told you how to solve it. The least you can do is try to solve it.
i still dont know how to solve it
What are you confused about. What part? You just can't say "I don't know" you have to tell us what part you are confused about. "For example the bottom side on the right side is 3.5 The bottom side on the left side is 10.5 What number let's call this number X can u multiply 3.5 to give you 10.5 X*3.5=10.5" There a clear indication that you have to solve for X
X*3.5=10.5"
