Which of the following is true about the function below?
I know its not D
there can not be a negative inside the square root
x+4>0 because of that statement
C
x+4>0 x>-4
I was going to say A can you tell me why it's c @El-naggar
this function can't give negative values
How come?
I know the Domain is -4, infinity
Oh scratch that so it can be B or C then
@Romero yes,but the range in B contain negative values
A is definitely out as the leading bracket [ means "include -4" which you do not want to do generally, for square root you choose the principal value (plus), unless explicitly noted with ±
Ok true like I said before inside the square root can not be lower than zero (negative values) so then we know the range has to be 0 or greater. No negative values
So it's C
i think it is C as well
to be precise: the parentheses (0, means exclude 0. You only approach 0 in the limit as x-> infinity
