Im new to this, how do you even find out what is the result of reactions?

In my old school they didnt have chemistry, in this one they do. One thing that confuses me to the core is how to determine the output of a reaction?

They give you xxx2SO4 + blablaO3 = ???
How do i determine it?

Also a second question, how do you find out the equation names for compounds?

Like they give you it in words such as calcium sulphate, ferrous sulphate, lead oxide e.t.c
I know the periodic table, but how can i know the formulas for the compounds?How do i convert them into equations.

u gotta remember the compound like ferrous sulphate and then there is ferric sulphate ,u so u gotta remeber that 1 is fe2so4 and and other is fe3so4, and like this wid experince u will be thru
