How would you describe the U.S. dollar if the foreign exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and British pound changed from 1:1 to 1:0.7?

don't know exactly how to phrase it, but it's value went down. At one point 1 dollar = 1 british pound now though 1 dollar= .7 british pound
