I have a question below

OpenStudy (waheguru):

|dw:1341259597897:dw|

OpenStudy (waheguru):

here w= 7 and h= 10

OpenStudy (waheguru):

I can get the answer but i am confused how I can subsute the numbers, do i put the 7 and the 10 in brackets or normally?

OpenStudy (waheguru):

because when we put the numbers in brackets the answer sometimes is differnt (negavitve ex (-7)^2 and -7^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I ALWAYS put them in brackets. Even when it's not necessary, brackets are very helpful in letting you know what to do in these types of equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2w^2+4hw ,where w=7 ,h=10 2(7)^2+4(7)(10)
