OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

how do you play a leaf? i have seen some people produce music by blowing through leaves. What is the method behind this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay after reading that, I was also curious how this is done, so I researched a little bit. Simplest explanation: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_play_a_gum_leaf The second explanation here was a little longer, but it seemed more detailed. The first answer seems to be accurate, as well, though. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090523114207AAsOGHf

I can play a jolly rancher rapper does that count?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hmm i guess ill still try waiting for a spontaneous answer..

OpenStudy (wolfboy):

Well think about it this way a leaf when held an blown on correctly makes a sound so obviosly there are ways you can make different ounds like with how big or small the leaf is. One way you can do it is have a bunch of people with different size leafs playing at certian times to make a song. Or if someone who is really good can do it he can hold his leaf in different ways to make different sounds therefore which makes a song

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean by, blowing a leaf? Like, blowing a leaf litterally, cuase I am confused

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yes blowing a leaf literally haha

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

thanks for that explanation @Wolfboy :)
