equation(4) x 12 + equation (5) to eliminate y

24x - 12y = 36
-5x + 12y = 59

19x = 95

x = 5

substitute into equation (4) to find y

2(5) - y = 3

y = 7

substitute into equation 2 to find z

- 5 + 7 - z = 2

2 - z = 2

z = 0

the solution is x= 5, y = 7 and z = 0
