2.5(Pi)r Correct? Anyone get anything else?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hmm hw u got that ?

OpenStudy (callisto):

Total surface area \(= \pi rl + \frac{4\pi r}{2} \) \(= \pi (0.5) (4) + \frac{4\pi (0.5)}{2} \) \(= 2 \pi + \pi\) \(=3\pi \) \(= ...\) **Assumption: scoop of ice cream is a hemisphere.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

small correction.. : Total surface area \(= \pi r l + \frac{4\pi r^2}{2}\) \(= \pi (0.5) (4) + \frac{4\pi (0.5)^2}{2}\) \( = 2\pi + \frac{\pi}{2} \) \(= \frac{5\pi}{2}\)

OpenStudy (callisto):

Ah.... I'm sorry!!!! Thanks for the corrections! @ganeshie8
