OpenStudy (callisto):

set of numbers: -1/3 , 1.2, 0.48, -4/3 , 0.75, 1.38 arrange them in order: -4/3, -1/3 , 0.48, 0.75, 1.2, 1.38 Median = middle term of the set. Since there are 6 terms (even number of term), you need to find the average of the middle terms. That is Median = (0.48+0.75)/2 = 1.23 / 2 = 0.615 = 0.62, cor. to the hundredth.
