IVP problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ln y = -lnx +lnx +c Conditions are y(2)=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got y=e^-lnx* e^lnx* e^c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not sure how to simplify further.

OpenStudy (foolaroundmath):

isnt it simply y = k ? (k = e^c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean? I need to find the value for the constant.

OpenStudy (foolaroundmath):

y(x) = c Given: y(2) = 1 from our solution: y(2) = c so, c = 1 the solution is y(x) = 1
