Need help solving for the coulombic foorce of repulsion.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am new to this, so I don't want to be given the answer (don't know how this really works). It is the nearest ion pairs of Na+ ions are separated by a distance of \[\sqrt{2*0.28nm ^{?}}\] calculate the coulombic force of repulsion between such a pair of like ions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kqq/r^2 the charge is +1, the distance is what you said before and k= 9x10^9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

q=0.16x10^-18C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah
