OpenStudy (amistre64):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i need help on

OpenStudy (amistre64):

click the button at the bottom of the reply box that says "attach file" then choose your file .... otherwise, none of us can see what you need help with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that better :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the median eh ..... gonna have to look that one up to refresh the memory with regards to the frequency distribution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it seems that first we would find out howm many data points there are; by adding up all "amounts" of each column

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (amistre64):

10 30 40 50 30 20 = 180 all together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is multiple choice this what i can choose from a. 44 b. 70 c. 9 d. 14

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the median is going to be the value of the number in the middle position of all of that: 180/2 = 90, so itll be the average of the 90 and 91 positions

OpenStudy (amistre64):

so we should start adding up the columns to find out when we get to the 90th one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (amistre64):

10 30 40 = 80 + 50 is going to give us the column that contains the median 1 2 3 4 so id say the 4th column looks right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is multiple choice this what i can choose from a. 44 b. 70 c. 9 d. 14

OpenStudy (amistre64):

now how to interpret that as a "measurement class" or does that simply mean the columns ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is multiple choice this what i can choose from a. 44 b. 70 c. 9 d. 14

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since the 4th column is from 70 to 79; that might coincide with "b"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is multiple choice this what i can choose from a. 44 b. 70 c. 9 d. 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is multiple choice this what i can choose from a. 44 b. 70 c. 9 d. 14
