Which unit is the best one for measuring the thickness of a piece of paper? mg mm mL ms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

millimeter

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Thickness is a distance, hence mm is the only possibility, as mg is a measure of mass, milligram mL is a measure of volume usually of a liquid, milliliter ms is a measure of time, millisecond.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

millimeter, or mm, because it is measuring an objects length, and everything else would not be measuring an object, but time, liquid, and then mass

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[\mu m\]
