If customer A has an appointment 2 2/3 hours before customer B who has an appointment 5/6 of an hour before customer C. How much later is customer C‘s appointment than customer A’s?

Simple addition and fractions. First make the fractions have the same denominator by multiplying 2/3 by 2. this yields: 2 4/6 + 5/6 you can even add the 2 to the 6ths. 16/6 + 5/6 = 21/6 or 3 3/6 or 3 1/2 hours Don't forget to choose best answer.
