create a set of numbers and call the set N. Describe a subset of N and explain why it is a subset of N.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To do this, you really only need to understand the definition of set and the definition of subset, so let me explain those things to you. A set is just a list of things. To make one, just throw down some brackets, like this {}, then start putting things in there, like numbers or colors or words. Hell, anything. Just make sure you put commas between each thing in the list. {The, members, of, this, set, are, these, nine, words} A subset of a set is just a smaller set that only has members which are in the original set.

So, to make a subset, just take out at least one member.

Really, Ivan? You're not gonna try this at all? You're just going to bump it and hope that someone hands you an answer for free? Try not to act like such a baby.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah can you give me the answer

I've done better than that. I've told you how to do it on your own. Learning is a cooperative process. Do your part.
