The ______ is the rate of change of y with respect to x. Derivative???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope???; dx/dy....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its slope??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess, it fits very well *-*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dy/dx=slope=derivative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thank you.. so Derivative and slope are almost the same definition??

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I think "the derivative of y with respect to x" is the most complete possible answer, but that's probably overkill :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first derivative is the slope of the line at a certain point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

depending on what your x value is at that point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you..
