OpenStudy (chmvijay):

in thermodynamics , why the law is called as zeroth law of thermodynamics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i think its one with equilibrium between three bodies, if two are in equilibrium with third they must be in equilibrium between each other... or simply said heat goes from warmer body to colder until equilibrium

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Called the zeroth law because it was not 'developed' until after the first laws, yet it was a more fundamental law, so they put it first.

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

do you know who was the discover of zeroth law

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ralph H. Fowler
