What is the difference between Journal and Gazette? What is the difference if the government publishes something on Journal and gazette?
No, not really. I've looked at that already. Thanks though.
then sorry , i am not good at that . :( sorry
I've heard of a Journal gazette but I am not sure the differences:( I'm sorry Calli
It's okay. Thanks for taking a look at the question.
er. is gazette more official? that's what i derived from the definitions and wikipedia page...
But would that be weird? See this ''King Albert II signed and promulgated the bill on 13 February 2003 and on 28 February it was published in the Belgian Official Journal and came into force on 1 June.'' I think it's formal though..
maybe gazette more defined version of journal? Kinda like saying batman, but then terry mcginnis batman.
Logic
What I've been stuck at are these: ''King Albert II signed and promulgated the bill on 13 February 2003 and on 28 February it was published in the Belgian Official Journal and came into force on 1 June.'' ''According to the Belgian Official Journal, approximately 300 same-sex couples were married between June 2003 and April 2004 (245 in 2003 and 55 in 2004). '' It's weird that the gov. included stat. and published the bill in the same journal.... I thought there should be some differences.. And when I translated the word ''journal'', I got two different wording for the same word. If I use the same word, it doesn't make sense :|
