Hey @Jackzhang. Well, actually it depends on your likings.. Some people like to start an introduction with a quote relevant to the topic and develop as they go along introducing the topic. Others like to use the "pyramid method', if I may put it this way. It can be a normal pyramid or an inverted one. By that I mean that you can start with a broad idea on the topic and narrow it down to address the question being asked or vice versa. @mathslover has given you some interesting links. But these are just basics which you need to know to be able to write an introduction but if you want something really good, don't hesitate to personalise it. This is how you're gonna your own style of writing. All the best..:)

There are many different ways of typing an introduction. You can start off with a quote, a question, a stage in time based on the article, or a hook. Then use 3 key ideas that your essay will include. Then finish it off with you concluding sentence about your introduction. I really hope this helps! :D
