okay i downloaded autocad 2011 but it said it wasnt compatible for my system..any ideas?
The reason behind it is are as follows : - 1. Your computer uses way too old hardware. 2. Update Microsoft Silverlight. 3. Or, have you downloaded the wrong version for your operating system . (32bit or 64 bit). These are the possible anomalies. Hope this answer will be of help. @Arnab_Chatterjee.
I think ur not using the correct version of windows u downloaded the file for... better download de x86 and x64 version if ur not sure which one u have...
x86 and x64 are autocad versions? or windows version?
you can find 32 bit or 64 bit for windows depending on the type of processor your system has... the nomenclature used is x86 for 32 bit x64 for 64 bit these are windows type system (arquitecture) depending on the windows you have you have to install some programs (like autocad) on the same arquitecture. to see what type of windows you have on windows 7 go to start -> right click on computer -> properties / there u will find a field that says "system type" there will say either 32 or 64 bits. then u have to download the autocad corresponding to your version. therefore I sayd if your not sure of which one u have download both types of autocads and one of them will work for sure. but now that u can see which one u need u can simply download the correct one I hope I make myself clear, English is not my native lenguage. For further questions just writte here I'll be checking for updates.
