Write a command in Spanish that you could give the people of Melo that would help fix the problem in the river that's closed to the public because of pollution. Then write the meaning of the command in English. I had recogerlo - pick up the trash. But apparently "The word you have listed for question 8 is in the infinitive. Remember that you are to conjugate (change) the verb when you use it. If you don't, then the equivalent is "to do" something. So here you have "to pick it up." Remember how to make a command? It is a little bit different than the regular conjugated form" What do I d

i do not understand what they're asking very well, if you could tell me specificly what is it you want to say i might be able to help u... I can only think u wanted to say: "Recoger la basura" or "recojamos la basura" or "No botar basura"... not sure...

Yeah, "recogerlo" is an infinitive. I'll show you how to conjugate it into a formal, plural command. We'll start with just "recoger." 1. Take the él/ella/usted form of the verb. This is the INFORMAL, SINGULAR command. "RECOGE." 2. Make it into a FORMAL, SINGULAR command. See how RECOGE ends with an E? If it ends with E, change it to A. If it ends A, change it to E. So, we change RECOGE to RECOJA. (We also have to change the G to a J, because we want it to be pronounced "ray-KOH-ha," not "ray-KOH-gah.") 3. Now we have the FORMAL, SINGULAR. RECOJA. We need to make it into a FORMAL, PLURAL. So, RECOJA turns into RECOJAN. 4. Now, we need to add the "lo" to RECOJAN, to finally turn it into a FORMAL, PLURAL command. So, RECOJAN turns into RECOJANLO. 5. Don't forget the accent! It always goes on the third to last syllable of the command. RECOJANLO turns into Recójanlo.

Oh, one thing. Since "la basura" is a feminine noun, we could say "RecójanLA," instead of "RecójanLO."

Okay, that makes sense. And I am just as confused as y'all. But thanks for the help!
