Bacterial STIs: treatable with antibiotics (ex Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia)
Both: Transmitted through bodily fluids (Semen, Seminal Fluid [pre-cum], breast milk, blood)
Viral: Typically not curable, treatable with anti-virals (ex. HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis)
