It is said that the cell nucleolus controls the production of rRNA, that is, it produces ribossomes. The DNA lingers in the nucleolus attached to proteins from where it begins the rRNA production process. But it is also said that the ribossomes are responsible for the synthesis of proteins, that is their function. How can it be then that the process to produce ribossomes requires proteins that are only synthesised by the ribossomes themselves? Does this not generate a paradox?

I attempt to add that from Dna you get mRNA, and then this ie read by the rRNA. the protiens are neeeded for transcription of DNA. Which makes mRNA and rRNA. I do't know which came firtst, the protiens, to Make all the RNA"s? IT seems to work ok.

It seems that when a new cell is born it contains some protein already (along with the DNA) which allow the synthesis to begin. So this question translates to how did the first cell acquired its proteins. But that is a question for a Theory of the Beggining of Life which is not my topic for now.
