@lalaly what do i do for this 1
OpenStudy (lalaly):
tsince the ratio is 3:10:12 the sides can be written as
3x , 10x and 12x
and perimiter is sum of sides
3x+10x+12x=400
OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):
ok so i add all of those up then divide?
OpenStudy (lalaly):
yes
OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):
ok thank you so much

You are given with ratios:
Let the first side be : 3x
Let the second side be : 10x
Let the third side be : 12x
Now,
Perimeter = Sum of all the sides,
3x + 10x + 12x = 400
25x = 400
Find x from here..
Then find the third side that is 12x...
OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):
ok ty
OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):
its 16 right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes but this is not the answer..
You have to find the largest side..
OpenStudy (osuxbucks15):
so 12 times 16?
