During a five day period, a stock showed the following changes: -2.4, +3.6, +6.3, -5.6, -1.3. What was the overall change during the five day period?

Add up the changes. What do you get when you do?
Is it percent change or dollar change? If it's percent change, you need to account for the new price each day. If it's dollar change, then @jim_thompson5910 is correct.
sounds like a dollar change (eg: if the stock is selling for $5 a share, then after the first day it loses $2.40 in value)
