Parth (parthkohli):

Quick poll: Which tone of voice do you like in writing? A formal tone or an informal one? Does the public matter?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

INFORMALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

lol

Parth (parthkohli):

What is your explanation?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Nvm. Depends on the public on a serious note.

Parth (parthkohli):

For example, on OS, the 'smart' informal is great. By the 'smart' informal, I mean jokes made by such members: across nbouscal Limitless cshalvey Ironically, they also happen to be my role-models.

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

egg-jactly!

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Well, in my opinion formal tone is better to convey your message that you want to express to the audience/ reader. However, if it's informal it will make it friendlier. It however; depends on the audiencer/reader and in which circumstances

Parth (parthkohli):

That is the perfect answer; I needed it. Let's keep the poll open and see what others think about it, eh?

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Well, keep in mind that the Writing Group is not that active; it's kinda dead. :P

Parth (parthkohli):

Of course, that is why I am keeping it open for a while, Noble Ma'am.

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

lawl.
