Biologists use classification to recognize their evolution background. Similar species or genus shows that they have similar backgrounds such as the gray wolf and coyote. This is referred as the Linnaen Classification. Classification is also used by entomologists in forensics to know what species is where. This helps in tracking the path taken by the person.
