can a master student in electrical engineering study master in nuclear physics( without a bachelor course in physics)?
i dont know y dont you first do m.sc nuclear science then go for m.tech. electrical this would be good way.
but i have a seat in anna university to do EEE..so i pland to finish it first
kiddo u must have seat in b.tech eee do it dont worry about nuclear science at once you can do m.Sc pure(nuclear science)after btech. . .
i cant understand it brother please explain..many are saying it would be tough to learn msc physics after doing btech in eee...
yup they are right if you do b.sc. then you wil study way more than b.tech. eee because what you wil study would be in theoratical form... but in b.tech. you will study everything in practical and moxt of it would be about elctricity. i prefer doing b.sc. then m.sc. then whatever trade you want to join like m.tech ee or anything. . . total years it would take (3+2+2) to complete bsc, msc. mtech and if you do btech(4yrs) then mtech(2yrs) then msc(2yrs)
so should i leave anna university?(its rankd among the top 10..this is freaking me out)
dont leave it then dont just freak out. . . or you have another idea to do what you want to do. . . you know i have wasted two years of my life doing nothing but what i wanted to do i failed but i dont have any grudges that i ddnt tried. :)
two yrs....y brothr?
u wont understand u need to be in my shoes to understand what i lost but still standing high . i can't be extra-ordinary even then i am ordinary :)
iam sorry brother...i really love particle physics..but after getting high marks in my board exam ..my family is forcing me to do engineering..i liked to take electricals because i know they teach quantum mechanics in it..thats the sole reason y iam takin it..but it semms to have a betr placement as a person studying particls..a phd in sub nuclear physics is needed...so this is my plan BTECH AND MTECH IN EEE ...MSC NUCLR PHYSICS..PHD IN SUB NUCLR PHY(4+2+2+1) yrs.. ill write entrances for IISC and MIT also in the way..if i get a seat...thank god my problem is solvd....
i dont know if you could be able to do ph.d in nuclear after doing mtech in electrical. its your life if you want to choose btech then fo for MIT to do mtech then who knows you interest might change while studying for so long here in india minimum year for ph.d is 3 yr boy you will have to study at least 10 mor years to get where u want to be. . .
oh god!
i woud say prefer electronics in btech and then you might be able to do phd in experimental nuclear physics.(practical nuclear) it will take only 7-8 years i guess you dont need to do masters instedd
ok thanks @theyatin
hink of it for a while dont move too fast. . . you will have to study for next 10 or more years the subject you choose be carefull. . .
