The faces of a tetrahedron die are numbered 1 to 4. If each of the 4 sides is equally likely to land down, what is the probability that the 2 does not end up face down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the probability that 2 does not end up face down is the same as the probability of having 2 as a failure, since the numbers are equally likely then the probability will be 1-1/4(probability of 2 facing down)=3/4
