First 2,000 kWh = $0.053 per kWh Over 2,000 kWh = $0.04 per kWh To the nearest penny, what is the charge for using 1,195 kWh of electricity? F. $63.34 G. $60.80 H. $47.80 J. $35.10
Okay so you wold need to do $0.04 x 1195 = 47.80 so H
Since it says the first 2000 meaning x <2000 = 0.04 else if x > 2000 then 0.053 In your case 1,195 < 2000
You're a freaking GENIUS! Thank you!
Haha thanks, just need to think about it a little.
@KonradZuse , actually you are wrong i guess. What it says there is that untill you reach 2000 you have to pay $0.053 so i would go for the answer F. $63.34
Oh I looked at the question wrong, you are correct.
switched those #'s around :P.
so yes 1,195 x 0.053
Looks like I got change it again, thanks guys.
63.335 so 63.34 sorry about that!
Wow and asking is actually free and you get the answer minutes later. WOW!
