This is not really an introduction.  An introduction needs a thesis, as well as a mention of THREE key points that you will be discussing throughout your paper.
Instead of trying to write your introduction, right now, you should focus on your thesis and three key points.  Write a paragraph on each point.  Your introduction will be easier to write once you have this information.
