Farial makes two pictures. Picture 1 is made with the help of a pencil and a straightedge and picture 2 is made with the help of a pencil, as shown. Which statement best compares the two pictures? Picture 1 is a drawing because it uses some geometric measuring tools and Picture 2 is a sketch because it is made freehand with just a pencil. Picture 1 is a construction because it uses some geometric measuring tools and Picture 2 is a sketch because it is made freehand. Picture 1 is a construction because it uses some geometric measuring tools and Picture 2 is a drawing becau

@cornitodisc and @KingGeorge

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

First of all, what do you think the solution is and why?

OpenStudy (dariyana):

A because it makes more since

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we say sketch,we use our hands..without any instrument..but when we say construction,,,,what do you think should be use??or do you think it is a drawing or it is also a part of sketching???? i was once reported by a moderator as abusive user..so i will not do to give an answer directly.... :-),,,just understand..

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

Making more sense is always a good reason. I also think that's the correct answer. However, is there a 4th answer? You seem to have exceeded the character limit in the question.

OpenStudy (dariyana):

Picture 1 is a construction because it uses some geometric measuring tools and Picture 2 is a drawing because it does not use any geometric measuring tool. Picture 1 is a drawing because it uses some geometric measuring tools and Picture 2 is a construction because it does not use geometric measuring tools for accuracy. these are the last two

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

In that case, I will agree that the first is correct. My reasoning for this is that neither of them made a construction. Since option A is the only one without a construction, it must be correct.

OpenStudy (dariyana):

ok thank you @KingGeorge

You're welcome.
