Create a set of numbers and call the set N. Describe a subset of N and explain why it is a subset of N.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If N is a set it has a group of numbers that belong to N. the subset then is a portion or different group of numbers all of which are still in N. One example is that N is all positive integers. a subset would then be all positive even numbers. another subset would be all positive odd numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what would not be a subset is is N is all positive integers and the other group is all negative integers. since negative numbers are not part of N it is not a subset

and to edit my first post the subset is positive even integers* or positive odd integers*. some teachers care about whether you say integer or number because they are different technically
