Hi,How can I calculate standard deviation according to Poisson method? I found few calculators but I have no idea how to fill in variables!! For example if I have these 5 numbers out 5 independent experiment 6000 4600 5500 7500 6500 and mean is6020. What will be the standard deviation according to Poisson??? please help me :(

A property of Poisson distribution is that variance equals the mean, therefore the the standard deviation should be the square root of the mean
