Suppose you have 30 CDs. You know that you have 11 more CDs than your friend. Write and solve an equation to find the number of CDs your friend has. A. n – 11 = 30; 41 B. 30 + n = 11; –19 C. 30 + 11 = n; 41 D. n + 11 = 30; 19

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

your friend has n you have 11 more at 30 so n+11=30 n = 19

Yupp, B is the right one which also corrosponds with zzrock3r comment/solution.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Um...it's not B...it's D :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ups B and C are quite similar. Of course D then, I guess nobody can own -19 CDs. However you might say that the friend has -19 CDs in comparison to you.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

hehe ok!
